Over the last few months I have been busy knitting Louise Crowther animal friends for my grandchildren who are all over the age of 13. We have all fallen in love with them. Have knitted 9 and have 4 more to go. Now I see there are clothes to knit for them and once again there is great excitement. I am using Scheepjes stone washed for the bodies and have found it just so lovely to use - I love the two tone look of the finished products - just beautiful.

A great kit

This kit was worth the wait (post office mucking us both around). I love that it came with a quality hook. The yarn can be a little frustrating as it likes to split if your which could make it harder for a beginner. However, the chick turned out so cute and the instructions were very clear. Looking forward to shopping with Flock of Knitters again.
